My professional design career began in graphic design. The owner of a graphic design/ marketing business for over 25 years, I have always maintained that good design applies to all that is visual; that includes decorating.
While I may have spent 25+ years designing logos and corporate communications, I believe these same skills easily apply to interior design. My graphic design background allows me to add a uniquely creative touch to any project. I have renovated, built and redecorated my whole adult life. This is my passion now.

Solo HOME Designs offers two areas of
design services:
RENOVATION DESIGN —
Renovation design services help take a concept to a finished project. Many details go into renovating a space. I will assist on every aspect from door knobs and lighting to furnishings, color and art. The flow and function of a space is as important as the colors, textures and furnishing. I will work closely with the architect and contractor to make sure every aspect of the renovation is addressed and provide a complete interior design and decorating plan to help create a spectacular space. If needed, I have many resources for all types of renovation needs.
INTERIOR DESIGN —
Interior design services include providing advise on color, texture, furniture, furnishings, art, and everything in between. I will carefully evaluate the space and any items you currently own and provide recommendations for placement and use. I enjoy finding the special balance between old and new and providing creative, beautiful solutions using moderately priced materials in a creative way. I will research and shop for everything - always with budget in mind. Combining creative solutions along with smart shopping is the focus of every project.
